NEW WEAPON PROPOSAL · WORKING NAME

Runewinder

A luminous necklace beneath crystal. A shared chassis, a visible cycling rune-bead loop, and two first directions: standard and purple Soulflame.

Two fictional sidearm concepts with luminous rune-bead loops behind player-facing glass: cyan and ivory standard above, purple Soulflame with a flame sight below
Generated concept art, not in-game. Static glow suggests motion; animation and native performance remain unverified.

Standard · Rune beads

Titanium, graphite and restrained bronze surround ivory/cyan engraved beads. The glass exposes the necklace rather than hiding its movement.

Soulflame · Flame sight

Obsidian and amethyst frame the violet necklace. A small open flame sight forms on focus, with readability and reduced-effects options required.

One family, many dimensions

Future finishes share a coherent rig. Cosmetic swaps must not silently change damage, cadence or resource behavior; functional conversions need separate definitions.

Internals are part of the weapon

  • Continuous closed necklace, entirely inside the body.
  • Player-facing glass and visible rune sequencing.
  • One advance per confirmed firing event, not per raw input.
  • Clearance, interruption, save and multiplayer tests.

Build from the best suitable base

Review licensed rigs and rough meshes before rebuilding from zero. Refine the chosen concept, preserve provenance and request author permission where required.

Reuse and quality requirements

Craft the firing order

Arrange ice → fire → ice → fire, poison → fire, purple flame or biome beads. Bead count upgrades change capacity; bead types change projectiles. Cosmetic skins remain separate.

Recharge, don’t discard

Spent beads turn dark but stay on the necklace. Rotate the clear sleeve open, lift the loop into the hand, channel compatible mana, snap it back and rotate the sleeve shut flush.

Cyan Soulfire weapon with cold-flame sight, alternating ice-fire and poison-fire necklaces, purple and forest necklaces, and separate decorative charms
Functional necklaces and optional cosmetics are distinct. These are design studies, not implemented attachments.
