Before eating

Two hunger points equal one full food-bar icon. Two health points equal one heart.

Hunger restoredExtra healing requestSaturation after the vanilla comparison

Choose the release first. Historical Rainbowfish and modern Cooked Rainbowfish use different nutrition and healing values. Generic modern Cooked Fish has an effect request but no AoA HealingFood callback. Actual healing is capped by missing health and may be changed by hooks; this tool does not simulate natural regeneration or potion outcomes.

What the numbers mean

Extra healing uses the selected food’s maximum healing × min(missing hunger ÷ food hunger, 1), with pre-meal hunger. Saturation uses the inspected vanilla comparison: 2 × the food’s hunger value × modifier, capped by the resulting hunger level.

Inputs are bounded to the normal 0–20 hunger model. Saturation above current hunger is clamped and flagged. A full-hunger result is an explanatory boundary, not permission to eat when the normal use gate refuses it. Missing or modified food components and modded hunger systems need separate validation.
